Community Seminar: Nutrition and Lifestyle Free Educational Series

Roots for Life is a grassroots volunteer organization founded in 2017 to educate and empower communities to thrive by eradicating food deserts and food insecurity. This year, we are starting our Community Health Seminars with the goal to educate and empower communities about the positive influence of nutrition and healthy lifestyle.

We will host six Nutrition and Lifestyle seminars starting May 2023. 

These discussions will focus on the following topics:

- May 20th: Introduction to Nutrition: Optimal nutrition for wellbeing, macronutrients & micronutrients. 

- June 17th: Metabolic Syndrome: Eat to prevent diabetes. 

- July 15th: Gut Health: How to eat for optimal gut health. 

- August 12th: Sleep: How to address sleep problems. 

- September 30th: Fitness: Eat for optimal fitness performance. 

- October 21st: Healthspan: How to live well and improve the quality of your years. 

You will gain the most if you join us for every lecture as we plan to include actionable tools and follow up questions. See you there!
