Roots for Life is a grassroots volunteer organization founded in 2017 to educate and empower communities to thrive by eradicating food deserts and food insecurity.

We want you to be inspired to make a change.

MISSION

To work with any individual experiencing food insecurity and local shelters to support the houseless on a path to cook, live, and grow healthy.

THE APPROACH

Education and empowerment in communities is multi-faceted. With each program, participants will learn to:

• Cook nutritious meals,

• Make healthy food choices with increased health and nutritional knowledge, and

• Grow food through fun hands-on activities.
